Founder and administrator (Rabbi )Reuben Flamer began a career  in the natural products industry in 1976 when he founded the first natural food co-operative in the Laurentian Mountains ( 60 miles outside of Montreal, Quebec.)

In 1997 he launched NFC . The company  is based on the principle that “ if its kosher,  its good for the soul, if its naturally healthy it’s good for the body, and each should have the other”!

In 2002 NFC became the first and only kosher agency to certify organic for the USDA National Organic Program.

Rabbi Flamer is a trained organic inspector, ordained at Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch 770, and a graduate of Ohr Elchanan Yeshiva LA, Chabad Yeshiva in Seattle, and Morristown Rabbinical College in New Jersey.

He currently resides in the Monsey, NY area
